Hi,
One of the problems you will have is almost all of the USA cars after late 90
had air bags. You have the brass horn ring on the column trim, whereas the
air bag cars have the brass horn ring on the back of the steering wheel. I
found this out when I went to install S2 steering wheel on my car. Ended up
having to get the upper and lower steering column trim from Europe.

You also need to check with the Audi family album to determine if the
electrical connectors that plug into the Headlight combo switch and the wiper combo
switch are the same as you have now. I doubt it. You have a reset button for
the dash on your switches above the radio. The later cars have the reset
button on the wiper combo switch.

Also the lower column trim from a later car will not fit up close to the
bottom of you dash. The air bag cars have a knee bar which is different than the
shelf you have under your dash. The lower column trim piece from a later car
will leave a gap.

There maybe some other things, but this is only what I know for certain in
changing out my steering wheel.

Greg
