Some vehicle I had did this.
the sediment in thetank would get sucked into the line (or screen) and plug.
Killing the motor broke the suction and the particals floated away from the
suction of the line.........................so restarts the car ran
fine............then to die slowly later on under "load".
I bet there's some crap in your tank or the FPR next to the CIS
potentiometer. (fuel distributor) towards the front of the car.
