The only thing that you'll be able to fit in there is a log style
manifold. If done right, it could easily out flow the stock EM. The
biggest issue with any 10vt header is the stupid intake manifold, it
takes of 90% of the space you should be using for a header, that's why
you never see short runner tubular headers on 10vt's. Plus, it's a
catch 22, if you do get a higher flowing manifold and turbo in there,
what are you going to do for fuel? You could run an additional
injector, but if your're going that far, you probably could really
benefit from getting the airflow plate out of the intake path, plus
why not wire up a few more things and go full EFI. The 10vt
absolutely has to be one of the most difficult motors to build headers
for. It's not as bad on a type44 because you have some extra room,
but It's still a PITA. I guess what I'm trying to say is, really
think about it, and before you dump money into something like this,
make sure you are really going to be able to get what you want out of
it. I'll tell you the simple path, EFI, a real tubular header with a
T3 flange on it, and a $500 T4/T3 turbo will go a long ways.
