family album question - part supersession

I have been trying to discover whether there is a function
within the family album to see p/n supersession history.
No luck so far. Some of the p/ns in the album drawings
for my car come up NLA at the dealer even though
Audi must make a similar part - the big M16x1.5 mm
nuts that fix the front anti-roll bar to the lower control
arms are one example. (Is my dealer's parts guy just
being lazy not to substitute an available p/n for an
NLA part or is faced with the same problem I am?)

I have noticed that if one double clicks on a line item
that a new window pops up. Sometimes this window
shows an alternate p/n. But more often not.

I feel I must be missing something. Any hints
will be most welcome.
