Removing turbo nuts... HELP!

I heated the nut up pretty good till it was red-hot with my cheap oxy-propane kit. The real problem is getting a good grip cuz of the proximity of other parts. I can only get an open-end on the nut. I think the box-end would be much better, cuz I can see the wrench spreading apart as I try to turn. Where did you get the studs? It's pretty hard to find metric studs round here...only mail order basically. Also do you remember the specs on the stud? Thanks for help.

Hi!
You can try to be as pathetic as I was. :) After battling with them and then
realising I'm going to replace them with stainless steel nuts and some new
studs, I just got out the hacksaw and cut the nuts in half or as much off
them to get them to release from the threads. A Dremel would be ideal in
this situation if you feel like it's the only remaining method. I didn't
manage to brake the studs, but I sure did bend some.
It's an awkward location to work without the right tools and all my cheap
ass spanners just gave in.
How hot did you heat them up? I've heated stuff up before, but they never
budged. Then I saw someone do this to a bolt on my VW Golf's suspension. He
used an oxyacetylene torch and got the thing red hot and then it just turned
out without any effort. :P
