Will 93 to 96 a6 avant 3rd row seats fit a type 44 avant?

I know people have been trying to figure out how to get the euro only
3rd row seat in their type 44 avants for a while, mostly to no avail.
Well here's a thought - given that the 93 to 96 100/a6 platform is
"pseudo" type44,  does anyone know if the 3rd row seats from one of
those wagons  will bolt in to a "real" type 44?
