Change the tires (for Phil, tyres) LAC

If the tires are 8+ years old, baby needs new shoes.

A few weeks ago, there were some articles in the press
indicating that anything over six years old is too
old.  Something about certain compounds breaking down
in the rubber.  

A movement may be taking place to have tires come with
an easy to read date code, just like the milk
(indicating last sale date) or Budweiser (indicating
date of production) stampted right there for you to
see, and not in some format requiring a secret decoder
ring.

Official Audi Content...this applies to your spare as
