Get thee over to the V8 Quattro list.  There have been numerous
discussions about this.  And while you are doing it think about 
using an 01E 6 speed like the factory did on most of the V8 Quattro
cars.  There is a set of detailed web pages on the various 6 speeds
in my Audi pages.
