Quick Car, but too rich?

I'm guessing that it's some kind of launch control system. The way it
left the line it would appear that the drivers foot was flat to the
floor and he had full boost. In the usual application, releasing the
clutch sends a signal to the ecu to return to normal operation with the
normal rev limit. One hell of a car, sounds like a v6 so it must be an
S4. Too bad the driver missed the 1st-2nd shift. It is running rich
though, lots of black smoke. Don't know if he's trying to keep the
motor in one piece or the tuning is just off.

That's a video for the hard drive though. Cool...
