81 Audi Coupe, Callaway edition

I have found out some potentially bad news. The current owner believes the exhaust manifold and turbo were removed and placed by a stock I5 manifold (he is not very familiar with forced induction cars and very unfamiliar with CGTs in general). The boost gauge still moves when he hits the throttle, but its like it goes from 20 in the left side to zero. It still has all the other Callaway stuff including the piggyback injector(s?). It even still has the Callaway badged intake. So, any clue how hard it would be to source the missing exhaust manifold and IHI turbo with integral wastegate? If it would be very hard to find, any thoughts on what else could be used to get this puppy back to forced induction in as close to "right" as possible?

TIA,

Dave
