Anyone organising a Hakka GP this year?

I hear these dumb things every so often... I remember seeing a RealTV show
of some lady in an older American car that had the same thing happen. Car
got up to high speeds and after a long chat on the phone with the police and
an escort, police trying to stop her bumper-to-bumper and her freaking out
and steering away, she went off the road, which slowed her down to
40-something and then hit 3 cars to crash-land...
Seriously, I am sorry to sound harsh, but these people are an example of
Darwinism at work. Sad thing is that they may injure or kill bystanders. In
any car there is a Cruise shutoff button, you can force the gas pedal up
with your toe, you can turn off the car, you can use the brakes (heavier
than usual), you can e-brake (lightly as to prevent lock-up and spin), you
can push in the clutch, gear to neutral, etc.
The chances are that the brakes, the transmission, the ignition, the cruise
control and the e-brake failed at the same time as the article implies are
impossible! If the car is found to have any of these systems in proper
working condition, the driver should lose his license and be forbidden from
operating heavy machinery for the rest of his life!
Just my 2 cents...

A Nokian dealer that's given me very good prices and service
in the past is this:
Greer Enterprises, talk to Craig.
They are in Minn, 800-325-2598
Also, Nokian Tire USA is 800-565-2525. I've talked to Anna and
she has been very helpful locating needed tires.
