Coolant loss - more info

I checked the oil, it looks fine.  Don't think a compression test will show much as the car runs fine.  I need to check coolant pressure while the car is running.

Suspect my mechanic just doesn't want to do the repair.  Not sure why, but I am trying to find a good audi mechanic in the Phila area to do it.  

I hate to give up on the car.  Put new UFO's and driveshaft on it in the last year.
