What a nutjob. NEQ bought someone a race trailer? :-)

The chapter DOES own a trailer, but you'd be hard pressed to fit a
mountain bike inside, much less a car. It contains something like
30+ helmets for beginner students, a filing cabinet, small genset for
running the avoidance course lights, cones, signs, two tables, and
all the office supplies it takes to keep an event going. Mid-season,
especially with event shirts and whatnot- it's packed to the gills.
It's also not exactly hidden in purpose- there's a set of rings along
the side (ala the A4 DTM cars) and a big NEQ logo on the door.

It's funny how the NEQ operates almost entirely without money from
the National club, and no dues are collected- and sometimes has money
left over to make donations to charity. The chapter puts on
something like 5-7 DE events every year. Open-to-public board
meetings and annual meeting (incidentally, where the treasurer always
gives a report on the exact status of club finances). Oh, and 2-4
newsletters a year to 2,000 people. Board of directors, 3 officers
(yep, that includes a treasurer who is a professional accountant),
all of them volunteers. Oh, and the NEQ is a registered NPO with the
IRS, so you can fetch the club's I-990 forms if you're feeling
exceptionally bored and want to look for this so-called "financial
mismanagement".

Maybe he'll actually show up at one of the board meetings and
volunteer his help, instead of taking potshots about how lousy the
website looks.
