JIC anyone is looking for a fun day this weekend and you are within 
reasonable driving distance of this general region of the country (southern 
WV) this Saturday, 10/16, is Bridge Day.  The New River Gorge Bridge, ~900 
feet above the water, is closed on one side for foot traffic only.  The 
bridge then will have a large number of BASE parachute jumpers using it as 
a take off point.  Typically there will be anywhere between 100K and 250K 
people there for the party.  (Uh, most are spectators, not jumpers.  :-) 
)  The bridge is about 3 miles or so from my home.  Let me know if you plan 
to make it this way.  Be  warned, there are no motel rooms available for at 
least 50 miles in any direction.
