Sorry guys, I missed the start of this topic, but I saw SC and MegaSquirt 
and had to butt in. Right now I am in NC for the rest of this week with my 
MegaSquirted 475hp 5ktq, if you want to take a look at it depending on where 
you are at I would gladly drop by on my way home.

My motor is different from yours, I have an MC which is a nice low 
compression turbo motor, and the stock ignition system works wonderful. I am 
currently (actually I'm on vacation right now, but anyway) building a 600hp 
Porsche 944 race car that is running MegaSquirt n' Spark, which is what I 
would suggest as an alternative to the factory ignition. Also MegaSquirt2 is 
comming out soon, which uses an add-on CPU to MegaSquirt and has tons of 
extra features. UlrtaMegaSquirt is also in development and will be one of 
the most advanced aftermarket EFI+Ignition computers availible, but it's 
release date is still a ways off.
