S6/A6 seat swap

A friend of mine had hip replacement surgery on Tuesday.  He owns a
'95 S6.  He's not going to be able to deal with the bolsters of the
stock seats in the S6 for 6 weeks to 2 months according to the doctor
so we were talking about swapping in an A6 seat.

I know V8 guys are swapping in S-car sport seats without any problems
so I would think that a '95 A6 seat would be a direct swap.

Can anyone out there confirm this?
