bomb replacement ramblings

I recently did this and figured I should add my experience too...
The return hose to the reservoir is easy and cheap to replace. You need about 2' of either 5/16" or 1/4" hose.. I forget what I used. Any hose will do since this is a return line, not high pressure. Fuel hose is fine. I was able to dig through the junk bin at the FLAPS and found exactly what I needed so that one was free...it was only worth like $1 something to them anyway if it came off the spool.

I'd also recommend having an 11mm flare-nut wrench on hand. They tend to be stubby anyway to fit into tight spaces. There was no way I could get those corroded flare nuts loose using a regular wrench. As for the clamp, you really have to replace them especially for a clamp that close to the ground. All-stainless marine grade clamps are best, but the OEM type are also nice b/c they don't have slots cut into the band, so they don't cut into the rubber when you tighten them up. The problem w/OE is the screws are zinc coated and don't last in the cold climates. The banjo bolt comes in the kit for the high-pressure hose from the hydraulic pump.
