The Five Hundred roof line appears to be a Passatt rip-off.
But the grill/headlights are ugly. The CVT with AWD sounds
interesting; I wonder how it works in real life.

And what's up with "Command Seating"? Does Ford marketing
really think this is the 1950s, and consumers buy into silly
marketing phrases? Or was P. T. Barnum right, that there is
a sucker born every minute?

AWD in a mainstream car proves Audi's foresight, but it also
makes them vulnerable to loss of sales.

I went and checked them out this past Sunday. NO one who is seriously in the market for an allroad will consider the Freestyle, and no one seriously considering a Passat will consider the Five Hundred. I don't think Audi has anything to worry about with these cars.

I was surprised at how big the Five Hundred was - it is Taurus-sized, it appears smaller in the commercials.
