Yes, I found the Thomas Registry entry. No help.
If you read more closely you would have seen that the "warning about Teflon
insulation" was referring to Kapton (a polyimide material) insulated wire
which was then clad with an outer layer of Teflon. The warning is in
relation to the Kapton, not the Teflon.
