Broken clutch rod?

My guess would be that the rod broke due to the stress caused by either
failing clutch components or bad slave. What ever is causing all the pedal
resistance needs to be fixed before you put your new MC in. I'd replace the
SC and MC and be on with it. If you still encounter a stiff clutch pedal,
I'd put that new clutch in. My 4kq was stiff as could be until I replaced
the whole tamale.
