Lister Nick came up with a fix for 
the gear teeth, worth a try.

As for the bolts, already thought of that. 

I'll probably have to remove the TOP
A/C pivot bolt as well, as the bolts allow
adjustment to the point that the A/C compressor
to be firmly bumped up against the block,
so no more adjustment to be had.
