Yes Phil:  Off the car at WG2.  
So doing the test on one port vs. the other isn't a real world example then?
I found the simple test enlightening.  
Noticable difference (4lbs vs. 7-8) from an old take off vs new.  
We tested three different ones, all off the car.

Now we did block the other port by thumb or hand while testing too.......... 
that mimic the real intake pressure on both sides of the valve / diaphram?
