sagging avant rear

My '90 200tqa is sagging in the rear. I suspect this is not uncommon,
but surprisingly a search of the archives brings up more for sagging
4k's (I've never noticed this to be a problem on the smaller, lighter
cars), or sagging on one side or another side.

I did find a post from Konstantine (sp?) re bushings that had actually
caused his avant to sag
http://www.audifans.com/pipermail/quattro/2001-May/026629.html
altho I'm not certain which bushing specifically this is

Did the avants get a higher spring rate in the rear than sedans?
'Cause if not, I think they should have.

Recommendations for replacement coils? My complaint is that even if I
were to get the car back to stock ride height in the rear, it's all over
once I put any weight in the rear. I mean all I need to do is load
maybe 40 lbs of stuff in the back and it's sagging even more than it
normally does unloaded. It just seems the long tail of the avant has
too much leverage on the current suspension.

So, is it at all possible to get a replacement coil that has a higher
spring rate than stock? I'd gladly take a harsher ride if it meant I
could carry gear in the back without dragging tail................

I know some listers use their avants as psuedo-pickups (Home Depot here
we come!), help me out here!

and then I see mention of optional third row seats (rear facing), I
have no idea how Audi ever thought that would fly? Unless my rear coils
have really just lost THAT much life?

I don't care to lower the car at this time
