This one's easy...

goto: http://www.boltdepot.com/

They let you buy "a la carte" instead of having to buy 50 or 100 pcs, but you can buy large quantities too. They're especially good if you leave near or in the Northeast...orders usually only take a day or two depending on when I order. You can get 10.9 class bolts in regular hex head bolts, but 12.9 class are generally only found in socket head (allen head) bolts. They also have tons of stainless metric hardware which great for restorations...

Other places for really hard to find stuff:
McMaster-Carr
Maryland Metrics
Metric Multistandard

good luck.

Where do you guys get your hardware?

I like to have many spares on hand, and don't like to run down to the
stealership to ask an indifferent counter man for one or two bolts at a
time.

I've been looking for sources for harware--especially hardened (10.9, 12.9),
black oxide bolts & nylocks for suspension components--with little luck.

Does anyone know who sells metric assortments?
