When all else fails, ask the Q-list . . .

Need a schematic for a 2002 M*zda 626. Found a factory manual for the Miata
on the net, no 626. Haynes and Clymer don't cover these newer models.

What I'm trying to do is locate the wire from the alarm that honks the horn
to let you (and the whole neighborhood) know it is armed. I'm thinking it
goes to the horn relay via a diode, but I don't know and don't have any
color codes, etc. I'm not willing to just dive in because the car is still
under warranty.

Problem is that when you lock the car and arm the alarm, it honks the horn
- which is REALLY LOUD - and I want to swap in some kind of a "peeper" or
maybe connect it to the parking lights. Of course, if someone tries to
break in (626 isn't exactly at the top of the steal-me list), I'd want the
regular amount of fuss to be generated.

Mandatory Audi Content - Advance Auto Parts has a loss-leader on a
snap-together-and-apart 10 by 10 gazebo (square fabric canopy, steel frame)
- this is a lightweight, cheapie item, but it only costs $15.00, fits in a
box 36" or 40" long by 6" by 6". Just perfect if you need to do a little
work on your car and would like some temporary shade. If I were a REAL
pessimist, I'd carry it in the trunk of my car - or maybe I will, it would
be neat for a picnic.

Best Regards,
Mike Arman
