While I don't want to add fuel to the fire, so to speak,
I scorched the foam in my '94 100 S Avant because
the plastic terminal cover had fallen off the battery,
causing the metal seat frame to short the battery.  I'm
sure Audi will argue that the battery was improperly
installed.  And I suspect the victim should have had
plenty of time to abandon ship before being overcome
by the smoke and flames.  But this is Amerika, and
someone has to pay...
