This brings into question should a car company be held liable for a vehicle
which has probably outlived it's useful life? Who knows who has done what to
the battery or battery compartment of that car. No car company I knows
designs cars to last 20+ years.
A similar case happend with a DC10 crash a fan wheel that had been in
service for 30 + years failed due to a imperfection in manufacture
