Greetings all,
Good to be back with the group. Thanks to all that helped straighten out my inactivation due to bounced emails.
It is time to address the clunk clunk clunk sounds and loose front end.
The vehicle has 140k on the clock and do not believe it has ever had new struts.
I am not sure I will be able to do all myself. Time and expertise are working against me. But want the job done once and completely while the parts are disassembled. I am assuming besides the usual strut parts that I want to replace bushings as well.
Any advise on how to approach this with my mechanic. Actually could be any good mechanic im in Stamford CT. Any thoughts on prices as well
Also need to get 4 new tires while im at it. Thinking about going +1 with 205 60s. Any feedback on brand. I will be getting winter tires in a couple months as well.
Thanks all,
John
