... if memory serves all of the adaptations necessary for the aux rad are
handled by the hoses ... I don't think there are any differences on the
radiator itself. That said ... it has been a while since I've looked at the
cooling system on my car, but ISTR that there was a coolant line that ran
down the inside of the driver's front wheel well and attached to a nipple
(cool, I get to say it too :) on the bottom tank.
It also sounds as though the prototype might include accommodation to angle
the rad in the car to ensure that it fits for all apps. In my case I will
want to make sure that I'll be able to fit a 3B or AAN with the alloy oil
pan ... as well as the current WX ...

Have not sent to the Master Q list, not really sure how to, have sent to the
3B conversion list.
I'd also place on Audifans when we get a little further.
I'm not using an Aux rad now but would love the nipples: )
Bill..totally agree..Thanks for the local link to macs radiator! I'll go by
there and speak with them in person.

Another target may be those folks who've done turbo conversions on 4kq's and
CGT's. Is there a 4kq turbo conversion list? Has anybody subbed the Master
Q List?
I have an old used stock urq rad, I think, sitting in my garage from which
measurements can be taken. I'll try to remember to check tonight. I assume
we want all mounting points and of course nipples (of course we want
nipples! sorry.) for all water lines. We should be able to eliminate those
nipples used for the aux rad, right. (?)

So lets start the investigation? Sounds like the previous group buy from
Dialynx was around $350-400, Jeffery Lewis got a very nice one from "...I
bought it from a place called www.streetrodstuff.com
<http://www.streetrodstuff.com> . They are actually made by PRC radiators I
think. It is about 400 with shipping."
I love the images of the Dialynx I have seen from folks and wouldn't have
any problems one of theirs
Yesterday I had "interest" from 4, today that "interest" has gone to 6 with
Steve B. and Sean ______?
Very good comment from Steve Eiche "..The ur q radiator will also fit the B3
and B4 chassis cars, so the guys doing S2 or RS2 conversions may also be
interested." copied them.
I myself have a FWD coupe rad in my 83-UrQ right now works great in a stock
car. Should be close on fitting all 4000s. I'm going to be a little biased
towards making sure the rad doesn't hit the AAN oil pan on my conversion and
secondary to fit on other cars. Nobody seems able to confirm the Dialynx fit
of AAN in an UrQ.
Sounds like the target price would want to be $400, or less?
3" sounds like a standard thickness everyone wants?
Let's start with stock measurements and go to the new thickness?
Anyone have anything out of their car we can get the actual measurements
from?
Someone emailed with an image I couldn't for some reason save but was great
looking.
Let's get quotes on 10 and 25, see what we end up with?
Jim Furdyn, Do your stuff! I am not a Dialynx US rep. But I am in an
exclusive partnership with Aelred Smith, formerly of Dialynx. Aelred can get
me anything I need to import into the US.
I'll contact the guy I know here in Portland, and we'll get this thing
rolling, with any luck as having watched previous GPs we should have
radiators ready to order by this winter or next spring? Anyone else have any
relationships with anyone they want to explore?
