Yeah, I'd seen that policy at other dealers I've worked with also, seems
prudent. Funny though, the steelyard I work with accepts cars with bags
installed and active. They specify no tanks/tyres/fluids, otherwise bring it
on. Since we tow local junks for free, I've brought them hordes of
tauri/f150/excel/323/s10 etc all bag equipped. They shred the shells for the
most part and never indicated they had an issue with the bags. And they're a
fully inspected/compliant steelyard.
