Compression

1988 90 Q NG, 271K km - smoked when cold, so measured the compression.
Cyl. 1,3 and 5 were @ 170, 2 and 4 - 155 or so.  A year ago all were
around 150.
Is this a sign of oil getting into the cylinders?  As from the head,
valve seals?
When warm it didn't smoke, just seemed to run rich.  Thought this 170 is
a bit excessive.

Another comp measure on an 1988 MC showed one cyl. @ 95, the rest @ 115
or so.  Is this within ball park?
