NAC: anti-theft techniques

I live in a city with very few garages, and lots of cars. I've had failed
theft attempts made on my Prelude and my Kawaski. And someone went through
my Audi's glovebox recently. That got me wondering if there wasn't
something more secure than a flimsy little ignition lock. Most people put
wheel locks or brake locks on motorcycles, why can't I put a boot on my own
car? Or sink an eyebolt into my driveway, or front sidewalk, and use a
heavy-duty cable lock -- anything to make theft more difficult...

So today, I just found this product. It doesn't prevent someone from
jacking the car and stealing the wheels, or maybe a determined, planning,
thief might bring his own wheels, but it should be proof against all but the
most prepared thief.

Anybody see any obvious flaws? Sometimes I take my car to NYC and have to
park on the street for days in some sketchy neighborhoods, and this seems
pretty hard to defeat. If I had slotted rotors, I would consider buying
four motorycle disk locks. Might rip the calipers off, but at least they
wouldn't get very far.
