>From the factory there is a cover over the wastegate screw to prevent
adjustments, so unless the cover is removed there is no way of knowing.
Obviously a previous owner drilled through the cover to gain access and
botched up the settings.  I hadn't heard before what the factory setting
should be or what their adjustment criteria was, i.e. spring force or
distance of screw from some surface, but that's interesting to note.  If
I ever drill out the cover on mine I'll have to put a depth gauge to it.
I do recall that Hoppen used to say to turn down the screw 6 turns when
installing the MTM +1 chip.
