It has been about 6 years now, but I knew several people who got
stranded from failed Jacobs products.  I have only used their wires
personally.  I bought a set for my 83 GTI back in the mid 90s.  If the
plan was to hear your ignition in the radio they did great.  Also the
fittings on the spark plug were horrible and flopped around.  They
would not take them back so I gave them away to someone on the old VW
watercooled news groups since his stock ones were fried and he just
needed something to get to work.

Long and short of it I think their products are good door stops.
