driveshaft rubbing against exhaust

I seem to recall that a bad motor mount, quite common on
our older Audi's, will cause the engine to sag. Usually
it causes a cracked exhaust manifold, but I'm thinking
it may also bring the exhaust closer to the driveshaft.
It wouldn't hurt to give it a look.
