Fuse boxes/auxiliary relays - a little O/T, but still VAG

I intend to relay them, in which case I suppose I could circumvent the fuse 
box (where I think the problem is). That still leaves me with the horn and 
directionals problem. Now that I have located the light "exit" wires from the fuse 
box, some measurement there should tell me something. I have never been able 
to understand something that can move through a wire. There is probably a 
little of the lame leading the blind when I attempt this by myself.
