Hey everyone,
I just picked up a nail in the tread and through the sidewall of one of my
Dunlop SP5000s. They are a bit older and have between 4/32" and 5/32" tread
left on the remaining tires. Thus begins the search for some replacement
tires.
I checked the Tire Rack site and found that the "best seller" for this model
Audi are the Kumho ECSTA HP4 716 tires. Also recommended are the
Bridgestone Turanzas from Tire Rack. Any opinions on these?
The local Sears has the Kumhos available on site. The cost between them and
TireRack after tax, shipping, mount & balance is a wash. Has anybody on the
list eve run the Kumho ECSTA HP4 716 tires? If so, what did you think?
Lastly, does anyone have any input on the Bridgestone HP 50 tires? They run
about $8 more per tire on the current sale that I can get to.
Thanks in advance.
