quick question, typ 89

Thanks huw, I mean the loom which connects to all the sensors etc on the
engine itself....
I know the 90q is cis3
But not sure about the 80, I know it has a lot of the same hardware, I
guess the main difference would be if the 80 has a pot on the airflow
plate....

I really doubt it... I think the two engines use different management 
systems.  That is, assuming you mean the loom that runs the engine.  If 
you mean one that does "everything else," they very well might be.  Tell

us which stuff the loom runs to, and maybe someone can crosscheck part 
numbers in the family album for you?
