Subject: Tires for the '87 Audi 5KCSTQ

I've been using the Kumho HP4s on my 5ktq as winter tires.  They do grip pretty well but are way to soft in the sidewall dept for regular curvy road driving.  That being said, they are fantastic in the snow for all season tires.  As for the Avids, my wife just got a set of Avid H4S on her Subaru and they kick ass.  Very nice tire for the money but don't expect incredible snow performance.

Had a 87 5000TQ, now driving a 90 200TQ... Been through numerous brands of
tires in the last five years on type 44's. 

Currently running Avid Touring 205 65 15's I got through TR... So far, (20k)
they are wearing decent, were excellent in the snow, and are probably the
quietest tires I've had out of everything I've used....
