20V, oil in spark plug tubes

Tom;
The valve cover gasket is leaking. There is a section of gasket that seals
the bottom of the spark plug tubes to the head. When this gasket starts to
leak, oil from the cam chamber gets into the tubes. The 20v engines tend to
go through valve cover gaskets ever few years ( I've replaced 2 in 6 years,
one when I bought the car at 5 years old, and the latest after 6 years
service). Take a look at the back right corner of the head - this is the
most common spot for the outer valve cover gasket to leak.
It's a simple job to replace, and you get to gaze in awe and wonder at the
camshafts.

I am still fooling around with the 90Q20V that followed me home. I went to
change the spark plugs and found 3 of the tubes full of oil. So far, I
haven't
drive the car a mile, so I know little about it. I posted the problem to a
20V
forum and received an answer that a clogged "air filter" resulted in
overpressure which caused the gasket to emit oil. I can't imagine an "air
filter"
having that effect. does anyone have a guess at what may have been meant? He
may
have meant the crankcase breather tube, I have already replaced that with a
metal tube.
