dist cap help?

Tom and all,

They indeed looks like they are the same.

A quick search in Google (with the tips from Kent that I learned
yesterday...) with the part number without space  "0290004235" showed me
this interchange :

For the other part number:
Same thing in Google but writen like that: "0 290 004 032" gave me this

And if nothing comes up in google, look at these 2 parts supplier (in
Canada): they have online catalogues with Bosch numbering
system/interchange. Maybe they can help?

Kent-
That's the Bosch part number, not the Audi part number. That's probably why
it didn't come up.

Hopefully someone else can tell you what the equivalent Audi part number
is.
