Thank you, listers. She still won't go, but not for lack of trying. Here's a
quick list and if you have ideas, love to hear from you.
Unless we've missed something, next step is to replace the computer with one
from another MC-2 (dual knock sensor) Type 44.
- No start; no spark, but plenty of fuel. Was very wet under the hood;
wouldn't start; started after a few hours of drying and drove home, but
wouldn't start again save for once at the shop - rapped on the computer (it
was clean and dry in there) and it started once, but hasn't started since.
- Checked all fuses; all relays. Jumpered fuel pump relay - it's good.
- Reference sensor and speed sensor good; ignition coil and power to coil
good. Checked all resistance readings to coil; good.
- Also checked power and ground to power output stage and power to computer.
Good.
- But no signal from computer on pin #2;
Does all this point to an ecu transplant?
