'88 10V rev limit?

Huw,
I found the rev. limit on the NG to be around 7200 RPM - wish it were higher
'cause mine was still pulling hard.
Unchipped MC-1 is usually at 6500 and chipped around 6800k.

The earlier CIS systems (USA, anyway), had a fuel pump relay based
cutoff that was totally obvious at about 6500 rpm (brick wall). On my
'89 90Q I have never found a rev limit, and have spun it up (no load) to
a hair over 7k just "to check." Not sure why this is.
