I m working on a V8 91 right now and allen bolts do the same ,,, :-(
I drill them with 1/4 inch just to remove the head.
Then pull the piece and you ll get the stud with no head.
Heat it a little , add penetring oil,,, wait , then heat again a little to help break the oxidation between the stud and the case.
After, try with vise-grip tool to unscrew it.
You should do heat and use oil to keep thread as nice as possible. Sure you can unscrew it without the procedure,,,, but you take the chance to break it on the block (or on the piece) or damage the thread.
I always do that and its the best way have i found.

Subject: Belt tensioner lower allen bolt..
Hi!
Decided to replace noisy bearing in belt tensioner (93' S4)
It mounts by 3 allen bolts. Guess what - I snapped inside of lower bolt and
have no idea on how to get it out. The only idea I have - is to put it back
together and wait for Timing Belt job so I can remove radiators and get more
space.
Any suggestion on how I can get it out?
Thanks!
