Heater core - water hose

You exactly right. It's a core with copper pipes. But as you understand I'd 
rather keep it :)
Also, it looks more reliable then original one was. Just need to get hoses 
on tight. Anybody dealt successfully with that core? Well. I can see a need 
for a better clamp.

This bleader screw looks like something nobody uses. Am I right? It's not a 
problem to get new one. But it would be so much better if I can use just a 
piece of heater pipe with appropriate end sizes.
