V8 hood

Eric,
A freind of mine and I installed V8 Quattro hood and custom Bumper - home
made from M80 bumper support and aftermarket bumper cover/spoiler. We
flared the fenders even wider to match the custom bumper. All this was done
on a 200Q20V sedan:

After encountering a deer (the first one) he proceeded to redo the
conversion using V8 parts - fenders and bumper. Not quite as complex, and
easier to fix if need be.
A few month later another deer literally flew up over and on top of where
the windsheild and hood meet, smashing down the top and destroying the
windsheild. Once again his full coverage is allowing him to fix it back up
again. The car is nearly complete again awaiting a spectacular paint job -
It was looking awsome even in gray primer!
So I don't know about a special grille except that the 100 grill looks more
like the V8 one, but is not as cool. A V8 hood will bolt on with some
adjustment and need to fab a hood latch mechanism. The V8 hood conversion
is nice, the V8 bumper a little more trouble - need to change/alter the
bumper mount struts. The Custom bumper/spoiler job was way more touble than
it was worth IMO, especially when considering this is the accident prone
area of any car.

Hey Ben Swann you out there? Didn't you do this for someone? Or am I
thinking of another car?
