A/C Compressor Recomendations for Coupe GT?

So, has anyone out there used a 88 90q rotory compressor on a Coupe GT or 4000q? I'm thinking it should work fine, my CGT has the exact same NG engine as the 90q had back then. But, where is compressor on that car? Same place? Passenger side, low? If so, wnder if the stock hoses will still fit? Thoughts? BTDT?
