First thanks to everyone for the replies, but now i'm not so sure it
the pump(still steering related though). It's only groaning when I
turn to the right, and sticking my head in the engine bay while the
wifey turns the wheel seems to show the noise coming from the vicinity
of the linkage and only while the steering is in motion. The noise
stops as soon as you hold the wheel steady. Could it just be some
sticky rubber bits making the noise?
