in the same vien, i have a 7.5 i needed to get for a ford dashboard.
the audi one should be an 8 mm though, just clean it out with some PB blaster and some coke and any home remedy you have, make it SPARKLE, and the wrench will fit.
That or just grind down one of your throw away 8 mm wrenched and use that, but dont strip the screw!!

An SAE bolt found it's way in there? Maybe a 5/16" Allen?
Are you sure it's a 7mm you're trying? My Allen wrench socket sets all
omit the 7mm, one of them has an oddball 6.5mm.
