Fay,
I've been a happy (most of the time) owner of a 93 model Eurovan for the
last 9 years. It's a great vehicle, powered by the familiar 5-cyl. Audi
engine. Lots of space, good, stiff ride. A few points to remember:
- stay away from automatics;
- make sure you have proper tires, load rating 99 or more.
It's the most spacious of all vans on the market and the only one you can
have with a manual transmission. Your choice is 1993 or 1995-6 models,
later ones came with a gas-guzzling VR6 and an auto tranny.
BTW, they've been available in Europe starting in 1989 and in Canada since
1992. Most of the wrinkles had been ironed out by then.
Make sure you get one that has been properly serviced and it will give you
many years of service. Well, you own an Audi, the same rules apply.
You will find a lot of into on the Eurovan newsgroup:
ev_update at yahoogroups.com
or for 93 models only, 93eurovans at yahoogroups.com
Good luck.
